Gauteng prepares for its most ambitious cultural celebration as OTT India Day 2025 transforms Sandown High School, Sandton into a vibrant showcase of unity and diversity on Saturday, 23rd August. Over 10,000 attendees are expected for this spectacular tribute to India’s 79th Independence Anniversary, featuring an unprecedented fusion of African and Indian artistic traditions.

India Club South Africa, in association with the Consulate General of India in Johannesburg, presents this flagship event as cultural diplomacy in action – demonstrating how South Africa’s diverse communities create something uniquely powerful when they come together.

Celebrated Cross-Cultural Programming Returns: Building on the success of previous years, this year’s programming continues the beloved tradition of featuring side-by-side performances from traditional Indian artists alongside celebrated South African performers, including the popular returning Nomsa Manaka Dance School and Soweto All Stars, reinforcing the authentic celebration of South Africa’s rainbow nation identity.
