Yet another acting accolade in the bang for South African actress Thuso Mbedu

There is nothing that will stop talented South African actress Thuso Mbedu as she is on a winning trajectory, impressing film audiences and judges of talent around the world.

Her latest accolade came yesterday, March 7, 2022, when she walked away with the Best Female Performance in a new scripted Series at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica.

This latest award follows shortly after her much lauded triumph in acting globally as she continues to scale film heights on the world stages. Mbedu is surely on a winning trajectory and her move to the US is a best career move for her career. Since she went there, her career has shot up and she is receiving massivel accolades.

It is hard to believe that in the big scheme of things in South Africa, only three years ago, Mbedu was hardly a household name as compared to some of her colleagues on prime soapies. But since her move to the US two years ago, things have certainly changed for the better for this Wits drama graduate actress.
