“I am excited to be part of the delegation representing South Africa alongside the Advertising Week Africa team led by Trevor Ndhlovu from BrandReserve Co.” says Leshabane. “It is important that we use global platforms such as these to tell African stories in our voices and shape the way multinationals view the African content and shift the narrative in how they market their brands to us. It is equally important that we take away lessons from some of the advertising and media giants of the world and apply them back home.”
Advertising Week is globally built on a foundation of inspiring and forward thinking thought leadership. It is on the Advertising Week stages that agendas are set for the following year, competitors come together for debate and discussion, and cultural icons re-inspire the industry. With over 75 seminars and workshops, the content at #AWNewYork goes deep into topics, trends and of-the-moment issues that are critical to our audience.

Advertising Week will be coming to Johannesburg in February 2023.
