Crown Chasers – a 10-part reality series exclusive to the Miss SA app

Subscribers to the Miss South Africa app are in for a treat with a new 10-part reality series – Crown Chasers – with the first episode scheduled for Thursday, July 14, at 18h30.
Thereafter the remaining nine episodes will be shown every Monday and Thursday at 18h30 free and exclusive on the Miss South Africa app.
Filmed throughout the build-up to the crowning of Miss South Africa 2022, the five- to eight-minute-long episodes will follow the top 10 contestants from the moment they are given the good news that they have made it to the finals, to the live pageant event which takes place at the SunBet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria on Saturday August 13.
The 10th and final episode of the series – which will be available to watch on August 15 -will celebrate the winner, her personal journey to becoming Miss South Africa, the ups and downs, her expectations and fears as well as interviews with those who helped her on her path to winning the crown.
Says Miss South Africa Organisation CEO Stephanie Weil: “This is a fabulous example of the type of exclusive content we are making available for those fans who have downloaded the Miss South Africa app.
“The 10 episodes promise fly-on-the-wall footage of everything the 10 finalists go through in the weeks leading up to the pageant – the highs and lows, the tears, the smiles, the laughter, the fun and the incredible hard work that not only the contestants put into it but also the whole Miss SA Organisation team. This is a first for Miss South Africa fans, so we hope they enjoy it and give it their full support.”
Tickets for the pageant can be bought via the Miss South Africa app and website as well as from Ticketmaster. General access tickets cost from R250 to R450 while VIP tickets are
R1 500 and include a glamorous red-carpet and pre-event celebration.
Miss South Africa 2022 will take home prizes and sponsorships worth more than R3 million. The Top 10 competing for the crown is: Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi and Tamsyn Jack.
