Fintech industry leaders gear up for the 8th Africa Fintech Summit in Cape Town

With deepened Fintech penetration in Africa, unique solutions are springing up and accelerating the growth of commerce on the continent. From 02 – 04 November 2022, Cape Town will host African and global fintech stakeholders at the 8th Africa Fintech Summit to discuss these innovations, and paths to growth, as well as provide substantial collaboration opportunities. The In-person/Online event is set to hold at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and looks to welcome delegates from Africa, and around the world.
#AFTSCapeTown2022 comes on the back of a successful AFTS edition in Washington, D.C, earlier in the year. The total number of in-person and virtual attendees over the past seven editions of the Africa Fintech Summit now stands at more than 5000,representing $4.5 billion in private equity and venture capital funding. #AFTSCapeTown2022 promises to deliver an extensive lineup of valuable engagements including plenary sessions, networking opportunities, startup demos and exhibitions, ecosystem tours, and investor missions. #AFTSCapeTown2022 will examine the impact of the expansion of African fintech companies beyond the continent on the African and global fintech landscape, the increased investor interest in Africa, and the two-way flow of tech talent between Africa and the rest of the world. The summit will also explore topical issues, including fintech policy and regulation, cross-border payments and remittances, local tech talent, mobile money and interoperability, blockchain and cryptocurrency use cases, corporate venture capital, intra-African trade, and more.
