There is no doubt that this young rapper has emerged as a leader in this genre of music in South Africa.
Doing so in this competitive genre, but also being signed to an international label has also come up with other perks that the Hip Hop artist needed to connect with global audience, and it is starting to pay off.
Nasty C’s signing with American reputed label Def Jam is starting to pay immense artistic dividends for the artist from Durban due to the global reach of his musical influence.
For example, he is one of the artists that have been included in the soundtrack of the much-awaited Coming 2 America production. Not only is Nasty C, part of the soundrrack, but he is the headliner, joining other top talent, including DJ Ganyani, the hugely talented, but underrated South Africa music producer. In the soundtrack DJ Ganyani has remixed a Tiwa Savage song.

The Hip Hop superstar dropped the visuals for his Black And White video on Friday. February 13, The Kyle White directed video features Ari Lennox and depicts the excitement of new love just in time for Valentine for Valentine’s month.
The music video was shot between Cape Town and Washington D.C, with the two internationally recognized musicians defying time and space to be together.
Upon the release of Nasty C’s third album, Zulu Man With Some Power, fans of the award-winning rapper dubbed Black And White as one of the most impactful collaborations on the album, giving Ari Lennox a new wave of fans in Africa.
SA’s most streamed artist continues to re-define the cultural landscape through his art and music. The track Black And White has been tapped as the lead single off Rhythms of Zamunda: Music Inspired By Coming 2 America.The soundtrack will be available on March 5. 2021..The Black And White music video is now available on YouTube.
