I am currently showcasing a series of work, titled the Inner Child. It’s all about exploring different colours. Using textures of things that reminded me of when I was a child. The artworks are inspired with ice cream colours, flowers and spring.
It’s all about being yourself and being colourful and stepping into a new season of having fun and letting go and not allowing adulting and the worries of the world, make you neglect your inner child and creative side,” Motale told CITYLIFE/ARTS.
The exhibition opened on Women’s Day, August 9, 2022 and is running till September 2022.
.Mbalemyama Art Gallery Studio is at 89 6th Parkhurst, Johannesburg.
