Zip Zap Rhapsody to take to stage soon

Fresh from celebrating its 30th anniversary, excitement is mounting as there is just one week to go before Zip Zap’s philharmonic circus show, Rhapsody, takes to the stage at the Artscape Opera House in Cape Town, from Thursday 3rd  to Sunday 6th  November 2022 for 6 shows only, before it travels to Paris for a 3-month run at the Cirque Phénix. 

Rhapsody – A Philharmonic Circus includes traditional and contemporary circus acts, accompanied by a 14-piece troupe of musicians, led by conductor Chad Hendricks, and dynamic Cape Town vocalists, Janine and Riyaan Cornelius, who perform hits from Elton John, Tina Turner, local favourites Mango Groove and Johnny Clegg, and a number of other artists to keep the audience fully entertained. 

Prepare to be astounded by a combination of daring acrobatics and a display of gravity-defying aerial skills, all perfectly in sync with the music! A show that will provide entertainment for the entire family!

Once Rhapsody completes its run at the Artscape Opera House it will travel to Paris, France where the show will complete a 3-month run at Cirque Phénix, Europe’s biggest dome-style circus tent.

Rhapsody ticket sales are via Computicket, with ticket prices ranging from R200-R350

 The show runs for 90 minutes excluding a 20-minute interval.
