An exciting Johannesburg Philharmonic Winter Season to warm up audiences at Linder Auditorium

Classical music is always a pleasure because of is rate ability to carry the audience with it into spaces that are not easily accessible through other performances. It is healing music indeed that seem to be in communication with the soul when the artists are on stage and are good at what they are doing.

Fortunately classical music fans in Johannesburg have the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra to thank, as the orchestra’s annual seasonal series are always a draw-card to classical music audiences.

In this Winter classical music fans will be in good hands at the Linder Auditorium, Wits Education Campus in Parktown, Johannesburg, where the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra will open its Winter Season on June 4, 2026.

“The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra’s Winter Season is here!! Join us every Thursday from 05 to 26 June 2025 at 7.30 pm at the Linder Auditorium for what promises to be another bumper World Symphony Series Season,” the JPO states in a media release.
