By CityLife Arts Writer

Lillian Dube and Moshe Ndiki join HONEY TV’s star-studded talent roster on Africa’s biggest cooking show — 7 Colours. The reality Tv Show 7 Colours is set to premiere on the 17th of February 2022 17:30 (EAT) on DStv 173 and GOtv SUPA. The show was inspired from the uniquely South African ‘colourful Sunday cooking’ trope, the two celebrity hosts go into the heart of South African homes to see how people really make their Sunday kos meals. In each episode we see families, friends and loved ones flex their cooking skills by executing the full plate, the best way they know how.

Dr Lillian Dube is a veteran South African actress who found fame and prominence on fictional TV shows such as Skwizas and Soul City.  “I love going into people’s homes, interacting with them and seeing what their plates look like” says Lillian Dube. She also mentions that her favourite part is being on set with Moshe, as they work well together.

The comedian honed his skills on YouTube with creative skits impersonating everyone from Rihanna to your best friend down the street. Ndiki went on to host the popular show Uyang’thanda Na? and You Promised to Marry Me. He brings the flare and spirit to the show with his witty and youthful remarks which compliment Dube’s stellar knack for comedic timing. “Not only am I working with Lillian Dube, I also experienced meeting the different contestants and how we are all excited when we are shooting.”

HONEY’s Head of Content Zinzi Velelo says ,The show brings something that’s unique to viewers in a way that’s authentic , we’re able to celebrate the best parts of our collective culture. It’s fun, it’s laid back and people get to be exactly who they are around something joyful — food.”
