Applications now open for Fête de la Musique Joburg 2025

The French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 14th edition of Fête de la Musique Joburg, taking place on 21 June 2025, at Victoria Yards.

This year’s festival, also known as World Music Day, is particularly special as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of UNESCO’s International Music Day. Additionally, 2025 marks 30 years of IFAS in South Africa, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to fostering artistic and cultural exchange.

Call for Artists

IFAS invites musicians, bands, DJs, and poets to apply for the opportunity to perform at this dynamic free music festival. The festival offers a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase their talent, connect with audiences, and be part of an international celebration of music and creativity.
