Nomsa Manaka Gala lunch to raise funds for a community cancer Fund beckons

Celebrated dancer and choreographer Nomsa Manaka, through her foundation, Nomsa Manaka Foundation, will this Saturday, July 26, 2026, be raising money for cancer through a Gala Lunch to be held at the Garden Venue, North Riding, Johannesburg.

Manaka who is especially lauded as a dance pioneer is a cancer survivor herself and through this fund raising lunch, hopes to raise money to assist more people in communities battling cancer and need treatment.

The packages have been tailored to meet every pocket size with a ticket costing R1000 each.

“Every ticket you purchase helps us bring hope, dignity and support to people affected by cancer.
Join us on 26 July 2026. Buy a ticket…. Give hope…Change a life,” says Manaka.

The event will also feature poetry, fashion and an art exhibition, with proceeds going into the cancer kit.
