Phenomenal Women artists to go on stage at Nirox in celebration of Women’s Day

It is time for the phenomenal women to shine and it is happening again at Nirox Sculpture Park, West of Johannesburg. And this time the line-up comprises of phenomenal women who are looking forward to taking a good account of themselves on stage, and in a way demonstrating why they are phenomenal.

And those booked for this year’s gig are Holly Rey (voice, guitar, marimba), Tamara Dey (voice), Pilani Bubu (voice, poetry), Nothende (voice), Wanda Baloyi (voice), AusTebza (voice, bass), Katz the Singr (voice, guitar), Jamie-Lee Sexton (voice, guitar), Jude Harpstar (harp), Lindi Ngonelo (keys), Sintu (saxophone), Mpumi Mama Drum (percussion), Sky Dladla (percussion), Linda Tshabalala (flute), Lebo Pangwa (trombone), Chantell Peterson (double bass) and Keamogetswe Magau (violin).

These women artists will celebrate Women’s Day with Phenomenal Artistry at Art of Superwoman’s festival in Nirox on August 6, 2022. 

“Art of Superwoman, the visionary organization dedicated to empowering women, is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated Women’s Day Event at the picturesque Nirox Sculpture Park. The event, skilfully directed by the illustrious AusTebza ‘The Bass Queen’ Sedumedi, “Promises a day of exceptional performances, soul-stirring poetry, and inspiring instrumentalists. The Women’s Day Event, taking place on 6 August 2023, (the actual official Women’s Day falls on August 9) promises to be an immersive experience of talent, unity, and celebration of women’s contributions to family, society, and the arts. AusTebza ‘The Bass Queen’ Sedumedi, known for her musical prowess and passion for empowering women, will host an extraordinary line-up of singers, poets, and instrumentalists in the NIROX Artist Residence. The featured artists, poets, and instrumentalists include renowned names:
