By CityLife Arts Writer
Makhelwane festival is an immersive, community-based celebration that is deeply entrenched in the rich cultural tapestry of Soweto.
The festival now in its 9th year draws inspiration from the age-old tradition of ubuntu/botho, embodying the spirit of communal unity and shared experiences.
