Miss South Africa 2020 to be streamed live

And so the popular Miss South African pageant will this year take place in Cape Town for the first time in its history, and many who would have attended If it took place in their city have probably already made peace with the fact that they will not be able to witness the most beautiful and perhaps brainiest young woman among this year’s contestants being crowned Miss South Africa. If that is your feeling, you need not worry as the pageant will be live streamed, thanks to the new technology, enabling you to watch the action from the comfort and safety of your home.


 Subscriptions to live stream the Miss South Africa 2020 pageant finale online went on sale yesterday, October 5.


 The pay per view cost is $6.99 (R99.99 excluding VAT) and will include an exclusive pre-show hosted by a special surprise international guest, online streaming of the Miss South Africa 2020 pageant finale, the opportunity to see what happens backstage at the event and access to an exclusive post crowning interview with Miss South Africa 2020.

Miss South Africa attracts fans from around the world including countries such as the Philippines, widely considered a beauty pageant powerhouse.”

Miss South Africa 2020 will be crowned at The Table Bay hotel in an entertainment-packed event on Saturday, October 24, from 17h00. The event will also be screened live – across the continent – on M-Net and Mzansi Magic.

How to sign up

Purchase a ticket to watch the live pageant from the misssa.live website. Simply click on the buy section on the home page and go through the checkout section and process payment with PayFast, which is integrated with the site. Subscribers will get a sign-up email confirmation and invoice. Both credit and debit cards can be used to make payment. This will be a once off payment to watch the 2020 finale live online and have access to exclusive pageant day content. 

On October 24 users need to log on to their account on the misssa.live website and navigate to the “Live Show” tab/page to watch the show live. If they are not logged onto their account or have not purchased a live ticket that’s linked to their account, they will not be able to access. Users will be able to watch from their mobile, tablet or

The finalists are Aphelele Mbiyo, Busisiwe Mmotla, Chantelle Pretorius, Jordan van der Vyver, Karishma Ramdev, Lebogang Mahlangu, Melissa Nayimuli, Natasha Joubert, Shudufhadzo Musida and Thato Mosehle.
 
For the first time in the history of the Miss South Africa pageant, the top three finalists (Miss South Africa 2020 and the two runners-up) will represent the country at the world’s three most prestigious pageants – Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational.
 
Miss South Africa is presented by Weil Entertainment in association with M-Net, Mzansi Magic, Sun International, Brand South Africa and the City of Cape Town.
